They interact with the body's Endocannabinoid System, which is responsible for a variety of physiological and cognitive processes. There are many different cannabinoids, each with its own unique properties.

Let's look at some of the most and least significant cannabinoids created by cannabis Sativa plants, as well as those from other strains.
- Cannabigerols (CBG)
- Cannabichromenes (CBC)
- Cannabidiol (CBD)
- Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)
- Cannabinol (CBN)
- Cannabinodiol (CBDL)
- Other cannabinoids including cannabicyclol (CBL), cannabielsoin (CBE) and cannabitriol (CBT)
